The Young Squires and the Dragon

I recently had an open vision during church. In this vision I saw a huge dragon chained by one leg in a large meadow. Surrounding the meadow was a dense jungle or forest. Masses of people began gathering in the meadow to provoke and taunt the dragon, but meanwhile, in the jungle, there came the sounds of labor and warfare. As the vision shifted I was able to see into the jungle where young people, looking like squires from the days of the Knights, were battling small snakes and crushing snake eggs. I realized that this was the spawn of the great dragon.

Back in the meadow more and more people gathered about the dragon until the meadow was filled. At that time the dragon easily broke free from the chain and began ravaging the people. The shouts of pain and horror drew the young squires from the forest. They were tired, battered, and dirty, but they pressed forward to engage the dragon and rescue the survivors. And the Lord told me this: "You have entered a season where many of those called by My name are gathering with those who do not know Me and they arrogantly believe that the Enemy is not a threat. My mercy is great, but I will only endure so much before I allow the dragon to rip free for one great period of judgment, but do not be alarmed. I have an army in training. They have long been fighting the work of the dragon. This has made them strong and fearless. In due time I will call for them and they will come forth to fight. The Enemy has no power over those who fight in My Name.
